Daecheonmun
It is a rhombus-shaped cartilaginous space located in the center of the newborn's skull.
It is located between the frontal bone and the parietal bones .
It is usually within the range of 1 to 4 cm , but there are large individual differences.
It closes on average between 12 and 18 months of age.
In some cases, it closes before 9 months, and in some cases, it stays open until 24 months, but most close around 1.5 years of age.
It is an open space where intracranial pressure can be directly palpated, and pulsation is usually felt in a slightly depressed state.
As the pressure increases, it rises and becomes hard to the touch.
