Our Story
In my quest to make surgical images easier to understand, I experimented with numerous tools, including Photoshop, Illustrator, Maya, Zbrush, Blender, and After Effects. However, as a neurosurgeon, I found it challenging to focus solely on my primary job. It took me 15 years to realize I couldn't do both simultaneously. While focusing on my primary job, I began to develop medical content.
We were looking for an artist with medical knowledge who could accurately and simply create a work of art that reflected this content.
After learning about the Korean Association of Medical Artists (KAMVA), I thought there might be artists interested in neurosurgical diseases, so I gave a presentation at the 2025 KAMVA Annual Meeting, appealing to the perspective of a neurosurgeon.
I happened to meet an artist who was interested in me, and we had our first meeting on May 15, 2025.
If doctors and artists can complement each other's shortcomings,
I discovered that there are endless possibilities for what I can do.
Finally, after 15 years of fantasizing, I decided to take action.
